context

The project focused on th of a century-old building in the heart of Basel, with the aim of restoring and upgrading it to the highest contemporary standards. This comprehensive renovation was designed not only to return the structure to its former glory, but also to seamlessly integrate a modern interior aesthetic while carefully preserving its historic architectural character.

CONCEPT

Three key areas defined the heart of the renovation: the kitchen and the two bathrooms. A minimalist design approach was adopted throughout, emphasizing clean lines and simplicity. Exquisite materials—particularly timber—were carefully selected to create a refined, elegant atmosphere that complements the building’s historic charm.

CONTENT

The interior of the building has been thoughtfully modernized with contemporary design elements and top-tier amenities. The refurbishment has transformed it into a stunning residence featuring spacious, airy living areas, luxurious bathrooms, and state-of-the-art appliances. Its prime location in the city, paired with historic charm and modern comfort, makes it an exceptionally desirable place to live.
